As widely used water conservancy equipment, deep-well submersible pumps play an important role in sewage cleaning, water diversion and irrigation. However, there are some "taboos" that need to be strictly observed when using it, so as to make better use of this equipment.
Deep-well submersible pumps are water-lubricated and water-cooled. Therefore, not only must it be completely submerged in the water to work, but the inside of the submersible motor must also be filled with clean water. If water is not added or the water is not filled up, it will cause water shortage to hold the shaft and cause the motor to burn the package due to lack of water. Seriously, it will cause the stator and rotor to be scrapped.
Submersible pumps work in water and are prone to leakage, resulting in power loss and even electric shock accidents. If a leakage protector is installed, as long as the leakage value of the submersible pump exceeds the set value of the leakage protector, the leakage protector will cut off the power supply to the submersible pump.
If the voltage is too high or too low, the temperature of the deep well submersible water pump will rise too high, shortening the service life or even burning the submersible pump. In rural areas, because power supply lines are relatively long, it is common for the voltage at the end of the line to be too low and the voltage at the beginning to be too high. Therefore, when using the submersible pump, the operator must observe the power supply voltage value at any time. If the voltage difference exceeds the rated voltage plus or minus 10%, or the current is greater than 20% of the rated current of the submersible pump, the operator should stop immediately and avoid the power supply voltage. Power on when abnormal.
Deep-well submersible pumps are equipped with steering instructions. However, there are many submersible pumps that can discharge water in both forward and reverse rotation. During reverse rotation, the water output is small and the current is large. If the reverse rotation time is long, the motor windings will be damaged. Therefore, before entering the water, the submersible electric pump should be connected to the power supply to check whether the rotation direction is correct. If the impeller reverses, stop the machine immediately and change the wiring of any two of the three cables.
The applicable head of the submersible pump is the rated head plus or minus 10%. In order to prevent the submersible electric pump from being overloaded for a long time, when buying a pump, do not choose a lift that exceeds too much, do not use low-lift pumps for high-lift work, and do not pump with a large sand content (or a lot of foreign matter). water, and observe whether the current is within the specified range at any time. If the current is found to be too large, stop the machine for inspection.
This is because backflow will occur when the removing submersible well pump stops. If it is started immediately, the motor load will start, resulting in excessive starting current. Therefore, after shutting down, it is necessary to wait for the water in the pipe to flow back completely before it can be started again. In addition, frequent starts will result in high torque, which will damage the keyway of the coupling and, in severe cases, damage the pump shaft.
When used in a pool or river reservoir, if the submersible pump sinks into the sand, it will cause poor heat dissipation and burn out the motor windings. Therefore, submersible pumps must not be used in environments with sediment. In order to prevent the submersible pump from sinking into the mud, the mud in the working environment of the submersible pump should be removed before it is launched into the water. If possible, a fence guard should be used to cover the submersible pump to prevent foreign matter from blocking the water inlet fence and causing the motor to heat up. The water outlet is not smooth.
